Roxanne Strike

Roxanne Strike brings more than 15 years of experience in media relations, community engagement and brand journalism to Lovell as an account supervisor. Through the years, she’s honed her storytelling skills to capture the voice and expertise of her clients. Strike’s work in media relations and thought leadership have garnered earned media hits in Forbes.com, Shape magazine, The Dallas Morning News, The Los Angeles Times, Vox and many regional and local outlets.

Before joining Lovell, Strike was the communications director for the Iowa Hospital Association. While there, she increased earned media placement, newsletter readership and social media engagement through strategic and targeted messaging. Strike’s background also includes roles as an editor for the weeklies division of Iowa’s largest newspaper, public relations executive for a variety of clients and a consultant for advocacy communications and political e-commerce. Her wealth of experience provides Strike with the ability to quickly pivot for the differing needs of her clients.

Strike graduated from Southern Methodist University in 2007 with a degree in print journalism and a minor in religious studies. She is pursuing her master’s degree in public health policy from Des Moines University. A native Texan and longtime Iowa transplant, Strike enjoys cheering on the SMU Mustangs and the Iowa State University Cyclones. She also enjoys fiber arts, cooking with her husband, reading and spending time with her nephews.
