Lovell Communications Promotes Amanda Maynord to Vice President

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (November 10, 2022) – Health care strategic communications firm Lovell Communications today announced the promotion of agency veteran Amanda Maynord to vice president. Formerly a senior advisor, she now co-leads Lovell’s issues management practice, helping the firm’s growing roster of clients with full spectrum change management, crisis and transaction communications.

Maynord’s team supports Lovell’s health care provider clients, particularly those seeking innovative and customized solutions to protect brand reputation and navigate change with confidence. With her support, clients successfully manage complex health care issues including regulatory investigations, transactions, operational changes and medical, financial and environmental events.

A Lovell colleague since 2013, Maynord began her work in health care at Ascension Saint Thomas. There, she honed her crisis and issues management skills serving as communications coordinator, managing the system’s in-house response team during the 2012 multi-state outbreak of fungal meningitis.

“More than ever, health care organizations need creative, forward-looking strategies as our industry faces continued challenge and disruption,” said Rosemary Plorin, President and CEO of Lovell Communications. “Amanda’s passion for hospital operations is an asset to our firm and the clients who trust us to provide counsel as they manage the moments that matter the most. We are proud to have her on our leadership team.”

Maynord graduated from Middle Tennessee State University. She is a member of the Society for Health Care Strategy and Market Development (SHSMD) and a former member of Leadership Health Care, an initiative of the Nashville Health Care Council.
