NASHVILLE, Tenn. (January 13, 2026) – Lovell Communications, an HMA Company, has promoted agency veteran Kristy Lucero to vice president. Formerly a senior advisor, she co-manages some of the firm’s largest clients and has served organizations across industry sectors from home health and hospice to urgent care, behavioral health, addiction treatment and recovery, and acute care hospitals.

In her role at Lovell, Lucero designs and delivers strategies and targeted communications that help clients navigate moments of change with confidence. She equips health care organizations to successfully manage a range of issues – including internal systems transitions, transactions, growth initiatives, brand promotion and crisis situations – ensuring they are prepared, supported and positioned for a successful outcome.
Lucero joined Lovell Communications in 2015 as an account executive and has risen through the ranks, receiving several promotions during her tenure. Prior to joining Lovell, she supported global health, nonprofit and consumer accounts at public relations and marketing agencies and worked with the United Kingdom’s tourist board in Los Angeles helping promote the 2012 London Olympics and the first U.S. visit by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. She earned dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Public Relations and Communication from the University of Southern California and is fluent in Spanish. She resides in Sacramento, California, with her family.
