What We’re Looking For

We’re in a period of rapid growth and seeking skilled health care communications strategists and writers to develop and support both proactive and responsive communications on behalf of our clients.

Successful candidates will be exceptional writers, possess strong strategic thinking skill and have demonstrated experience in developing and executing internal and/or external communications programs for health care organizations.



Title and salary will be based on experience level and skillset.

Role Requirements

  • Collaborate with both senior and junior level team members to develop strategic, creative and successful communications initiatives and campaigns; potential projects could include:
    • Internal communications programs such as company newsletters, benefits communications
    • Change management initiatives (post-merger, new initiatives, leadership change, etc.)
    • Community engagement campaigns
    • Issues management efforts
  • Maintain productive relationships with key client contacts and maximize flow of communications and work product deliverables;
  • Collaborate with colleagues on related efforts such as digital amplification of communications efforts, marketing/branding, content programs, etc.
  • Develop strategic plans, timelines, tactics and budgets for client approval;
  • Handle regular, day-to-day and consistent contact with clients: troubleshoot client issues; manage personnel assigned to client accounts and projects, including assuming responsibility for quality control of all work produced;
  • Train, educate and mentor junior staff;
  • Participate in our ongoing strategic planning process and other agency initiatives, as appropriate.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in communications, writing or related field;
  • Minimum of five years of health care communications work experience (preferably in the provider, corporate health care or agency environment)
  • Demonstrated expertise and work product in both strategy and execution.
