OVERVIEW

Lovell Communications, one of the nation’s leading health care public relations firms, is seeking a skilled health care writer and media relations professional with experience in the health care delivery space.

Successful candidates will have exceptional writing and communications skill and demonstrated experience in health care media relations and thought leadership.

Title and salary will be based on experience level and skillset.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

Successful Thought Leadership/Media Relations candidates will have:

  • Five to seven years of relevant work experience (preferably in either the provider, corporate health care or agency environment)
  • Working relationships with health care industry reporters and editors
  • Body of relevant work samples in proactive media relations strategy development and execution
    • Earned media placements (articles, features, SME placements, commentary, etc.)
    • Thought Leadership/Media Relations strategic plans, editorial plans
    • KPI reports or dashboards
  • Strong writing skills and work samples such as: 
    • Consumer health content
    • Bylined articles
    • Case studies
    • White papers
    • Executive communications
    • Communications plans
  • Experience measuring and reporting media KPI performance
  • Experience working in a team environment and managing junior team members
  • Strong references to attest to an excellent track record of strategy development, execution and project management
  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, marketing, journalism, communications or related field
  •

  • Securing SME speaking opportunities
