Account Executive

Now an HMA company, Lovell serves a wide range of health care clients, including integrated health systems, hospitals, post-acute and home health providers, public health organizations, health plans, suppliers, consultants and associations.

HMA Lovell has offices in Nashville, TN, though this is a remote position.

The Account Executive will act as the primary point of contact for clients and ensure their satisfaction. This position is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of client projects and campaigns. The Account Executive will also contribute to client projects by writing and producing various deliverables. This position is also expected build and maintain relationships with the media and respond on behalf of clients when needed in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Account Manager’s client projects and foster positive relationships with key client contacts
  • Develop and execute plans, tactics, budgets, and timelines for client approval
  • Develop and maintain relationships with members of the media on behalf of clients, proactively soliciting and responding to reporters’ inquiries
  • Write press releases, social media content, blog content, brochures, newsletters, and other types of copy
  • Create ideas to pitch to news media for client coverage, respond to reporters’ inquiries
  • Measure and report on the results of projects and/or campaigns
  • Keep abreast of important developments within clients’ industries or professions
  • Monitor local and business news, and review client industry trades, daily
  • Ensure company communications and brand standards are represented consistently
  • Support client special events as needed
  • Keep Account Supervisors informed of client activities
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations, communications, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of media, public relations, or journalism experience required. Experience in B2B and/or healthcare communications is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills
  • Excellent organization and time management
  • Proven team management abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong ability to think critically and creatively
  • Strong attention to detail
