A member of the firm since 2002, Rebecca Kirkham has more than 20 years of experience developing marketing communications strategies for publicly traded and privately held health care companies. From behavioral hospitals, acute care health systems, surgery centers and pharmaceutical companies to ancillary service providers and B2B partners, she has represented nearly every sector of the industry.
Kirkham brings significant crisis communications experience surrounding patient care and compliance issues, including DOJ/OIG investigations and HIPAA breaches, and a wide range of strategically sensitive matters. In addition to developing marketing and thought leadership strategies, she has managed large internal communication programs designed to engage employees and physicians around electronic medical records, ICD-10 and other strategic initiatives.
Prior to joining Lovell, Kirkham managed communications for IASIS Healthcare and its 15 hospitals, and managed a multi-million dollar marketing program for HCA and its 300+ hospitals. Kirkham also worked with a leading content marketing firm managing the development of consumer-focused magazines, newsletters and web content for dozens of hospitals as well as clients in the banking, small business and not-for-profit sectors.
A graduate of Western Kentucky University’s School of Journalism, Kirkham is a member of the Nashville Healthcare Council’s Leadership Healthcare program and a graduate of the CABLE Leadership Academy. In her free time, she enjoys chasing her two young daughters and impressing friends and co-workers with her Rainman-like ability to remember names and obscure details.
