Senior Account Supervisor

A former healthcare business journalist, Erin George specializes in developing and executing communications and media relations strategies for companies across the healthcare spectrum, including hospitals, behavioral health providers, health plans and healthcare technology firms, among others.

Since joining Lovell in 2011, George has worked with media outlets throughout the country, securing news and feature stories in formats ranging from small community publications and local television stations to major daily newspapers and national news outlets. As a complement to her media expertise, George also provides strategic counsel on internal communications, change management and crisis communications matters.

George joined the firm from the Nashville Post, where she was managing editor and healthcare reporter for the business news outlet’s daily online, weekly print and bi-monthly magazine platforms. Previously, George was a reporter with the Nashville Business Journal and the Pittsburgh Business Times, covering industries ranging from healthcare and technology to transportation, energy and legal services.

A native of Pennsylvania, George graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with Bachelor of Arts degrees in English Writing and History of Art and Architecture. She lives in Louisville, Kentucky, with her husband, daughter and rambunctious dog.
