Economy survey finds business leaders upbeat

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 12, 2009) - A snapshot opinion survey of 174 business leaders shows almost all believe the economy will stay the same or improve in the months ahead. Last week's online survey, conducted by Lovell Communications Inc., asked business leaders to project whether the economy will improve, get worse or remain the same during the next six months. Respondents' votes were: . Economy will improve - 54.5% . Economy will remain the same - 34.6% . Economy will get worse - 10.9% The survey asked respondents to set aside what they had read or seen in the news, and respond based on their own personal experiences.
