iABC/Southern Region Recognizes Lovell Communications Inc.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Sept. 26, 2006 – Lovell Communications Inc. took two Silver Quill Awards of Excellence in Marketing Communication and Community Relations at the second annual International Association of Business Communicators/Southern Region Silver Quill Awards competition Sept. 24. Both awards were for the firm’s work on Alive Hospice’s 30th anniversary campaign, Angels of Alive Hospice – Friends for Life.
The award was presented to Jessica Turner on behalf of the Lovell team, at a reception held at the Intercontinental Kansas City. The judges, communication experts from other IABC chapters around the nation, cited the Alive Hospice program as one with “exceptional execution” and noted that Lovell had “fantastic understanding of their market.” Lovell has been recognized this year with nine local, regional and national awards for the Alive Hospice campaign.
“The Silver Quill designation is a mark of distinction because it is granted by peers using a rigorous set of criteria backed by research and years of professional experience,” said Lynn Zimmerman, communication consultation with ConocoPhillips and IABC/Southern Region Chair.
